Dedicated functions are available to recognize, prevent or terminate possible tachyarrhythmic episodes.
Anti-PMT
The pacemaker mediated tachycardia (PMT) is a condition of ventricular pacing synchronized by retroconducted P waves detected out of the refractory period. The function Anti-PMT is available in MEDICO pacemakers and is able to recognize and interrupt the PMT with absolute effectiveness.
Reversible Mode Conversion
While the pacemaker is operating in atrium-driven mode, the algorithm Reversible Mode Conversion allows to identify any supraventricular tachycardia and to break atrium-ventricular synchrony, that could be dangerous to the patient.
Quick Response to PAC
The function Quick Response to Premature Atrial Contraction (PAC) has been designed to avoid pacemaker-dependent PAC conduction to the ventricle.
Watchful Atrial Pacing
The function Watchful Atrial Pacing has been designed to prevent competitive atrial stimulation, in case of high rate sensing inside the atrial refractory period.
